Default Sanding Station Sled

This is a simple sanding station sled I made to ensure that lengths of wood can be sanded repeatedly to identical lengths. It is very useful for making box components and such like.

Although I used a router to mill out various components, there is no reason why this sled could not be made using only a drill press and a scroll saw.

I used 4mm MDF to make the slotted rail for the adjustable stop-block. Although this is just about adequate, it is a little flimsy and I suggest anyone else who makes one of these should use a more substantial material.

Sweeeeeeet...........looks like I have my Monday project in the shop. Thanks for the idea, and pictures. I love sleds, I have one on my table saw, and small band saw, but never thought of the sanding disk.
