There are some fine retailers listed here who carry them.
Scroll Saw Retailers - Scroll Saw Workshop

Try sloans or Mikes workshop...I get mine from mikes...

Ireland?

Mike's workshop would be best if you want USA supplier.

I am sure EU, somewhere is an industrial supplier that sells "wire sized" drill bits to hobbyist. Did you ask on the UK scroll saw site?
UKW :: UKworkshop.co.uk

Lots of web sites that will translate numbered wire sized drills to metric:
This is just one:Drill Size Conversion Table

I use the following USA supply house:
McMaster-Carr
and enter 'wire gauge jobbers' drill bits' in the "Find" box
I don't think McMaster-Carr ships over the 'Pond', but there may be an warehouse located in the UK.

A google search has the supply company MSC / J & L company in the UK and Ireland. I cannot verify, keeps dumping into US web site.

Tony,
I don't know if this will be of any help, but I get all my Number and wire sized drill bits from Micro-Mark. Drill Bits. I have no idea if they ship out of the states,but it might be worth a look.
