Default the time hath come

To get rid of all the second hand tools I've collected. I got a few bucks ahead and ordered a new Dewalt saw, a Dewalt Miter saw, a Dewalt table saw, a new drill press, an air cleaner and several other goodies.

Way cool Jim. Make sure you post an updated workshop pic when it's all set up!

so, what goodies have you accumulated that you need to get rid of. I am doing the same thing soon here, already have the extra lathe sold to one of my 4H kids, and possibly a scrollsaw (but NOT my yella ones!) sold.

Congrats on all your new stuff!! I just love to setup new toys in my shop, so I'm a bit green with envy that you've got a whole bunch to do.

Ahhhh... on to another train of thought..... Think twice before getting rid of some of your old stuff, especially if you have room to keep it. It's nice to have multiple machine setups and/or dedicated to a special functions. For example, use your old drill press for sanding drums. Or, your old table saw for dados and rabits. The more complicated or time consuming it is to do a special setup, the better it is to have that in place when needed.

Just my 2-cents, as I firmly believe that you can't have too many tools or clamps in the shop. :-)

Lee,

Way ahead of you, I'm putting the sand-o-flex permanently on my benchtop drill press. The two miter saws, table saw, and yes, the older yella saw will see the light of day on Craigslist, those going to fund a band saw and jointer.

Darn, the shipping charges would kill me going from AZ to IL. Well good luck on your sales and please post piccies of your new setups.

I am with envy and jealousy!
