Question Blade design

I'm a little hesitant to even suggest the following but here goes...
When I use a blade, any blade, any manufacturer only about 10% of the teeth get used...depending of course on the thickness of the wood. What if?.. blade manufactures cut the same tooth design on the opposite side of the blank on the other end?
I know it would halve they're profit but I'm also sure they could charge a little more for the extra machining....
My wife thinks I'm a cheap so and so... maybe, but why not use what's there before we have to throw it away?

I have a 3/4 inch plywood piece that I put over the saw table held on with magnets to allow me to use the top part of the blade. I`m not cheap I`m frugal.

Often wodered if they could put the blades on spools so you could just keep moving it down to use all teeth.Just cut off the old part as you go.

Or you could use Crown Tooth or 2-way cut (or similar) blades that cut in both directions. When one end starts to dull, just flip it over and use the other.
