I sm a new member with questions about a scroll saw that I received. Iam looking for any information or a manual for a craftsman blue cast iron 24" depth model number 103.0404. The motor sets in the middle and is belt driven. The motor can be taken off when not in use. I don't know anything about it but would like to learn about this tool before useing it.

Welcome Soospy! Looks like you've found a great old saw. It was made in the 1040's by King-Seeley Corp for Sears. Here's some links with pictures and a little more info. I did a google search using - craftsman 103.0404 You may want to do that, also, to check out some of the other hits. OWWM - Photo Index - Craftsman - 103.0404 OWWM - Photo Index - Craftsman - Jig Saw, 103.0403 OWWM - Photo Index - Craftsman - 103.0404 Wish I could be of further help. I love those old tools and do hope you find what you need to use yours.
