I put heli coils in all of my Hawk G4 blade clamps because I tend to have an unecessary heavy hand.

I've been having a problem with my dewalt where the top clamp would always get loose. So I broke down the top and bottom blade holders, cleaned and lubed them all. Now it works great, has not slipped once in about a week. Used to slip every time I changed a piece.

Residue of lubricant on the set screw and thumb screw, where they contact the blade, or the blade end will require extra tightening to hold the blade to prevent slipping. Cleaning these with varsol or similar solvent will result in less pressure required to hold the blade and probably longer life for the threads. Works for me.
