Another vote for TimberWolf blades. My Craftsman 10" saw wouldn't cut a straight line for anything with Craftsman blades.I did all the fine tuning all the way to even having to add washers and then cut drink cans for thinner spacers to line everything up.Brand new Craftsman blades were junk.I ordered 3 and received 1 free Timberwolf blades and I didn't beleive my saw was able to cut as well as it did.The blade brand change made all the difference.Tony

Trout
I have the same size blade and I buy mine from BusyBee Tools. Always have been satisfied with their blades.

I will vouch for Suffolk Machinery and Timberwolf blades as well, however, a new blade may not necessrily cure your drift problem. Bandsaw drift is a little like scroll saw drift. I've had situations where I can use a straight fence and get decent resaw results and other times no matter what I do, nothing is cut straight. Even using the same blade, I seem to get different results, so maybe some of it has to do with the wood or how wide the stock is, or more likely operator error.

Anyway, I made a resaw guide to mount on my fence to allow me to account for blade drift and I've gotten much better results since I started using it. Essentially all it amounts to is a 6" long, x 1 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick piece of hardwood, screwed vertically to my resaw fence, just ahead of the blade. The edge that contacts the wood is beveled to a point so that all the wood is riding against is the point, instead of the entire surface of the fence. Since my fence mounts on rails, I can't adjust it for drift, so I simply pivot my stock against this guide in such a way that I can resaw a straight line.

Default what a SWEET HEART!

Mrs.Trout that is....
I was holding off on buying the saw blades from Suffolk because I needed to wait until my next payday so I could get the buy 3 and get the 4th free deal...
Mrs.T was in Sears today that is near her work and found just the blade I was looking for.....
I'm back to cutting straight lines again....
the differnace is that this blade is twice as thich .025 and has a hard edge than the other replacement blade...

WOW, I am so excited..
the last couple day's have been pretty bad tiring to cut wood...
she'll be going back tomorrow and getting me another one since they had 5 left.
