Tony--I just give the first twist on each end a couple of taps with a small hammer on my bench vise to flatten them. Don't have to hit them real hard. Works for me, good luck.

I hit my spiral blades against a flat steel piece of a vise with a hammer and flatten the ends. Works good for me. David
Oops, I didn't mean to mock Jerry on this. Sorry 'bout that.

Hi Tony,
Yes, you are wrong. I have so far send orders to at least 40 countries. Even to Chiny, Vietnam, Iran.

Boy Ben, you sure had me going with that little bug under your name. I thought it was on my monitor - tried to get rid of it. Didn't work. Then realized it was moving as I scrolled down the tread. Very cute!

Not to hijack Tony's thread, but you're going to love cutting with Mike's blades. Went out to do a little cutting yester and slipped a tube of extra blades in my pocket to have close when the inevitable time came and it didn't!. Wasn't doing anything long or difficult, but the blade just kept going.

I know what ya mean Jim.One of my sons won a pack of FD-ur #5's at the Texas Picnic, and I found them the other day.I put one in the saw and finally had to switch as I had cut so long on it that I was smelling hot wood.Must be the first time I wore a blade out without breaking it (I've only had store bought ones).

On a side note to anyone that hasn't checked out Mikes page, you can order as few as a dozen blades and shipping is only two bucks.I can't buy a dozen store bought ones cheaper than his prices.I ordered a half gross of the blades I wanted and several different of the dozen count to experiment with-shipping still two bucks and NO handling charge .
