Default Manual Hawk 220

When my Dad passed away I kept all his woodworking tools and this machine was one of them. Have manuals for everything but this and I'm having trouble getting everything adjusted so I sure could use a manual downloaded or otherwise. This old beauty was his pride and joy so hope to keep it going for years. Thanks Terry

Default needing help on Hawk 220

I just bought a Hawk 220 scroll saw at an estate sale, and I need some help. I need a manual. Does anyone out there have a PDF or a copy they can send me? Thanks. I was unable to get a blade connected correctly, it appears that the upper arm is about and inch to the right of the hole in the table/platform, making the blade tilt at a sideways angle. This saw, although old, may not have ever been used, and may have been incorrectly assembled.

(Just to make you jealous, I paid $50 for the saw, stand and about 50 blades.)

If your saws happens to be a 220 vs, I have said manual. This is a Variable speed 220 that I purchased in 1990 or "91. I think. If you think this would work or help, I would be more than glad to scan and email to you. So if you want it, send me a pm with your email addy....

Default Hawk 220vs manual

I have just purchased a 2nd scroll saw from a gentleman but he did not have the manual. Is there one available on line or can someone help me. I also noticed it is setup for pin blades so it has a hook at the bottom for the blade holder is there a way to change it over to a conventional blade holder like the top? Thanks Mark
