I might not be the best one to comment on this subject because I have poor eyesight. I have used one of the visor type magnifiers for quite some time. I wear prescription glasses along with the visor and it works good for me. Everyones eyes are different and may not find a visor comfortable. Most visors are sold with multiple lens of different strength. Anyone interested can find several listed on ebay.

I have one of the optivisors that I used for TV and VCR repair before I retired. I don't use it for scrolling, but I do use it occasionally for some things. I have strong bifocals for my scroll work.
