for a long now time now i have been looking on the net for replacement blade clamps too fit my scrollsaw.its a scheppach saw.of course i was looking on the american sites,as i thaught if they dont have them,no one will.no good on those searches.i even contacted the makers of the saw and they told me the only clamps i could use are the type that came with the saw.these are ok but you had too tighten the blade on with a hex,allen key.eventualy these bolts rounded so for a while i was tightening the blade in the clamps with a small wrench.so too my amazement i came across a site last week,which was based in england.there clamps fit the same way as the old ones,the bottom clamp is set with a allen key and the top wiht a thumb screw.this is great.no more wrenches.it only took 5 miniutes too change old for new,blade changing is quicker,and i am finaly operational again.
so the next time i require parts i shal look on sites closer tooo home.
