I guess that happens to all of us, it was the same when I was working in a machine shop years ago, sometimes a tool would last and last and last, you would feel bad when you finally had to change it and the replacement was never as good. I agree with most though FD blades are great. I first tried the sample pack Mike sells. Also recently tried some new blades offered at Wildwood Designs, it has two forward than a reverse and repeats etc. etc. I found they gave a great finish also. FFinnell "Popi"

I just started using Mike's ultras and they are everything he said they would be. Except (isn't there always an except) about every 4th #3 blade wants to go wwaayy off to the right as soon as I put it in. I figure it's easier not to argue and just get out a better behaved sister. Bernie |

Bernie I find that if a blade wants to go to the right then it is in upside down. Just my observation, but when I flip it then it cuts as is should.
