A Plano 3600 Size Prolatch Stoway with six compartments which was on sale for 'buy one get one free" solved my blade storage needs on the cheap. I love all of your tube storage ideas, but this serves me just a well. As shown, I printed up the Osborn charts to go along with the blades I currently use to create a box index. Once printed and laminated, I adhered it to the inside lid with a glue stick. If the box was a little larger, I would have stored my blade lube stick in it as well.

Great Idea. Like that you are hanging onto those used blades as well....Thanks for sharing your solution.

Actually I like your storage system. Just yesterday I dumped my blades all over the floor for the second time is three months. BTW - I use open tubes inserted in a round wooden base. You would think it would be hard to spill them, but I managed it anyway. Great idea and a nice simple solution.
