I have seen several members state they have multiple Scroll saws. How many do you own? If more than 1 saw ...why do you have more than 1? I can only justify 1 saw my ol' yeller. I suppose if I were doing a lot of craft shows I might get a dremel or something lighter to tote back and forth. What do you think?

Hi Mike, I too, only have the DeWalt. With the episode of Wednesday, I thought a backup might be worthwhile. So far, still only the DeWalt. |

I have a Hawk and a Dewalt. I have three reasons. . No. 1. I had the Hawk and it is a bottom feeder only could not afford a G4 so i got the Dewalt. No.'s 2 and 3 are twin grandsons that live next door!! this is probably the biggest reason!! |

I kind of have 2 saws. My first saw, the one I cut my teeth on, is up in the closet on the top shelf. It's an old taiwanese knock off of a better saw , but, it has variable speed and a fairly easy clamping devise. It's beat to crap with paperclips and wedges of wood in places holding it together. heh heheh I upgraded to the DeWalt 788 in 1998. Wow, life altering!!! It's the only saw I use, (that is, until I can afford an EX30). Wow, I can't imagine having two saws.

I have 3 saws, but I only use one, the G4. I have my original craftsman that I no longer use, it is a huge boat anchor that still runs and looks good and it's job now is just for memories I suppose. My third saw is for my daughter to play with, another craftsman, but not so ancient as my first saw.

Hi Mike, I have 2 saws because the Delta P-20 has been discontinued and I was afraid I might have trouble getting parts. I do custom work and it wouldn't go over to well to tell customers waiting for their cuttings, that I am on hold waiting for parts. Now all I have to do is hope Hegner doesn't go under like Hawk did.

I had 2 but gave one to my father in-law so he could let it sit un-used in his garage. ![]() However I love my Hawk and have not had need for a second saw. Now, I also have a miter saw, table saw, band saw, and 2 circular saws.

I have 3 all Delta. One is a 2 speed don't use anymore, a Q3 I still use it sometimes and a P20. When I upgraded, I just kept the old ones. Bob
