Default Hawk Closes

I just read on Steve Good's site that Hawk has closed due to economic hard times. Support information is not yet available.

DAMN, the announcement is on their former web site, and this just after they moved into new quarters. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. I sure hope that my G4 lasts a few dozen more years. I would hate to have spent that much money on a tool that I love only to have it quit on me and have to buy a new brand. I wonder where I could get replacement parts if I needed them now? Thanks for the update Skeeter.

Since hawk has closed I need parts for my G4 saw. They are part item no 5
part no. 705-0005 nose adj. stroke for the bottom arm and item no. 6 part no 705-0003 blade holder brkt. I would like to buy these parts if at all possible.

My first suggestion would be to try Ebay or Craig's List to try and find one that is broken and purchase for parts.

Default Rbi

I heard yesterday that the build and inventory will be auctioned . No word on when , where or what type or quanity of stock. Keep and eye and ear open maybe someone can buy inventory for resale. Possibly buy RBI out and start all over again with a different owner. jim
