Heads-up on Dewalt Saws - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

Just got a flyer from Woodcraft today. They have the Dewalt 20 inch scrollsaw (model DW788) on sale for $549.99. Includes free (what they call free anyway) stand and light. Light cost value of $39.99, stand valued at $89.99.

Not sure how this compares to other stores or Computer sites but just thought I would pass the info on.

Last I checked with Grizzly it was $469.95 with light and stand. Light $39.95, stand $59.95, saw was $419.95. That was Christmas wish book 2008.

I just ordered one online with out the stand and the light it came to $440.92 thats with the shipping .

Rockler has them on their website for $529.00 including light and stand. I ordered one last week. They also took off their shipping (still have to pay $40.00 UPS) and are sending a $10.00 gift card. After comparing, this was the best deal I found if you also want the light and stand. I don't know how long it will be back ordered so until then, still scrolling along with my Delta.
