Hello Everyone, I know a specific technique may not please one but another...but just wondering. I have noticed different vendors of adhesive paper / wonder paper etc. When I saw them, it seemed to me "this is just a full sized label". I went to my local office supply store and bought a pack; pleased with myself for saving on the shipping and handeling charges (which is around 1/2 the cost of the labels themselved). I do like what I am using...but. Was wondering if anyone out there have used the adhesive paper, and if they can tell me the difference between them and a standard (full sized) label.. Thanks much Cheryl |

Cheryl, I am not sure about the difference, but I suspect they are one and the same. I went that route using full page lables, I found it to be very inefficient unless you fill up the whole page with patterns I tend to just print one small pattern so the whole page label was a waste for me. . I now print my patterns on the back of used paper ( I save all my misprints from work etc.) and use spray adhesive, still the most economical.

Rolf, You are right, that is why I (literally) cut and paste small patterns to fill the whole sheet. Usually when I make something small, I cut many of them so that is not a problem for me. Personally, I don't want to even try the spray adhesive...since it has toluene in it (very nasty chemical) - and I am very sensitive to things, and have animals in the house don't want to take the chance with the spray. I have a few sheets of Wonderpaper that i got in Ohio last year at the SAW Expo, but I can not seem to find where I put it, but when I do, I plan on giving it a try and posting my thoughts on it, but like I said, first I need to find it !!

For those of you using full size labels, to save some money, try onlinelabels.com. I can get a package of 250 labels for about the price of 100 at an office supply store.

I was readin these post and had a thought about smaller projects and using adhesive paper and labels. could the project be printed onto adhesive mailing labels or I found adhesive name tags about 3 by 5 inches. Also my printer prints onto photo paper that is 4by6 inch, could the adhesive paper be cut down to this size and ran thru the printer? JUST SOME THOUGHTS DON |
