Default Saw for $450

I have had one of my newsletter subscribers ask the question:
"Can you suggest a saw at a reasonable price that does not vibrate so bad your brain hurts? Somewhere around $300 to $450 if that is possible?"

Since I'm in S.A. I am not in the best position to advise her - can I have your input please?

Thanks, not sure why I thought the DeWalt was more expensive...

Our local Rockler has them on sale for $450. If you look around, you may find them for as low as $300 for a refurbished model to $600 for one with the stand, light and other bells and whistles. I picked up a refurb a couple of years ago for $300 + $ 50.00 to ship it. It runs like a top!
Hope this helps, Sue
Don

Default Get What You Pay For !!!!!!

In the grizzly Magazine in this 2009 year you can buy a Dewalt 788 for $419.95 plus shipping which would be I think around $75 dollars for shipping . I think that this rather a good deal ..which would be $494.95...I found this at the end of the season last year.....I'm not favoring this brand , but I like mine ....... Marshall...
