Great idea! Now I know what to do with my old motor when I get a new saw.

Smile buffing wheel

Evie most buffing wheels for buffing lathe work only turn 1725 rpm. might take that into consideration when making the buffer. That is with a 6in wheel. Jim

I love inventing....great job.
I notice in the background you have a Harbor Freight belt sander, me too. Have you had to replace the switch yet ?

Great deal Evie. Like I say "I might be able to use that some day." My shop is full of containers of nuts, bolts, screws, pieces of metal, PVC, etc. Have gone to the junk bins many times for various things. PS your shop is sooo well organized. jerrog

Yep it is from harborfrieght. and yes we did have to put a new switch on it. but still runs great.

also Jim, I thought a buffing wheel could run faster. but now I might have to look into that. I made a mistake on how fast this motor ran, I don't think it runs much faster than that. whitch is good for a mop sander.

jerrog. thanks for the complement. I do like to be organized. in a small place I think you have to be. or nothing works. but then you should see it now. no pretty. your friend Evie
