Default EX 21 Help Please

Ok I upgraded my saw a couple months ago from a dewalt to the Excaliber.
I liked the way the dewalt had a easily lifted arm and easily lowered. But with the ex21 I got to fight with it to raise and lower and find that it has slowed me down greatly.
I have not seen any articles to make this easier to raise and lower I am sure it is just a loosening of a bolt or something but don't want to mess it up either...

Thanks in Advance

G'day Ny,
On the left side of the saw, as you are looking at it face on, there is a flat nut with a bolt which has a screw slot in it.
This adjusts the tension on the top arm.
Just get a spanner to loosen the nut, and adjust the tension with a screw driver, when the arm lifts and stays in the upright position, tighten the lock nut.
