Has anyone bought one of these yet? Looks neat. I want to use it for cutting veneer and up to 1/8" Bal Brch. Comments. Chase Attachment 12938

Yes I bought one in Aug. I use it to cut cardboard, and thin wood. I like it. It self sharpens to boot. Tried to cut some carpet with rubber backing, but it bogged down on that.

Save your money. For cardboard, paper, veneer, etc. it might be ok. For 1/8" BB it stalls out after cutting about 1/4". I took it back and got a refund. Never tried it on veneer. For cross grain I like a razor blade and with he grain I use a veneer saw. I like Skil tools but this one didn't live up to their hype or my expectations. Chase

Hey.. if i lived in the U.S.A. I would buy this for quick cutting of thin woods boards etc.. even cuts ceramics/tiles etc.. costs twice as much here in the U.K... LINK..... Exakt Saw Official Site – Professional, Exact Home Renovation Tool John |
