Default Dewalt Scroll saw problem

My Dewalt scroll saw has developed a noise in the upper arm. It seems to be vibrating more. I am cutting a puzzle with 3/4" white oak, using a #5 double skip tooth Olson blade. I have slowed down the speed which seems to have taken out some of the vibration. The noise is also less. Is this to be expected with the stock I'm using, or does the saw need maintenance?

I read where I could remove the switch and turn the rod inside the upper arm counter clockwise to take care of the noise. The tension level is attached to this rod. This seems to have helped a bit, but not too much.

Is there something else I should be doing? My saw has seen a few hundred of hours over the past ten years.

Thanks. Baking
