DeWalt 788 - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

In an earlier thread, I mentioned the I returned the Hitachi CW40 for a refund and order a DeWalt 788. I received an email that the DeWalt 788 was shipped by FedEx. I should be receiving it tommorrow. Guess I don't leave home.

Just an update. The saw arrived yesterday the 15th by UPS. Looks pretty sitting on the bench. No stand. That was shipped by FedEx. It should have been here on the 15th, but the driver couldn't find the address. The light came by USPS. Still waiting for the stand.

So put it on an old kitchen table, (that's where mine has been since 1999, lol).

Ahhh the only thing better than the smell of a new saw in the morning is the the dust it creates! I would tell you to enjoy, but I already know that you will

Further update LOL Still waiting for the stand. Shows it is on the truck, but I am not holding my breath.
