Default Yard sale find

Found a Buffalo 15 inch scroll saw today on a metal stand for $25. (actually I bought it for the stand as it will fit my planer perfectly) Anyone familiar with this old saw (manufacture date says 1988)? Came with the owners manual and shows that this will also take plain-end blades with a couple of widget clamps that you put on the blade and then install the whole shooting match in the saw. Needless to say, these widget clamps are missing and am wondering where or 'if' I can find these.

Came with a handful of pinned blades and tried it out for chits and giggles. Single speed and runs a bit faster than I care for but cuts great. Used blades marked "rough fast cutting" with 10 teeth per inch and went thru a chunk of pine like butter. Table is a bit rusted but plan to hit that with a Scotch bright pad and then wax it up. Figure this will be a neat saw for the 4-H kids to practice a bit with before I turn them loose on either the Dewalt or the Dremel. The wife just may learn with this one too as she is complaning that I am not getting her stuff done fast enough!

The wife once more just shook her head and started to walk away when I told her I bought another scroll saw until I showed her the artist easel I got her at the sale for a $1. Gotta remember that trick--buy something cheap for her too and I get no backlash. LOL

You did that wrong! The story should of been like this.

" There was a real nice scroll saw there and I was going to get it but then I saw this great easel that is perfect for you. So I ended up just getting this cheap saw!"
