Default rbi 20 inch

Did RBI make a 20 inch scroll saw model that used a step pully system for changing speeds? If so, does anyone have one, and your thoughts on it, and about how much you think a one time use used one it worth. Also, about how old might the saw Im talking about be. (the guy I spoke with on the phone is selling a saw from grampa and knows zilch on it other than it was used one time, is an rbi, and he 'thinks' it has step pulleys for speed changing) Thanks

I have a 20 inch Hawk that is like new that I will sell for $500 plus shipping. Variable speed. I sold 2 others just like it for that price plus shipping. I had 6 scroll saws and I need to get down to 2. I also have a 20 inch Delta with step down pullies. I bought it new and used it for 20 minuets. I have $550 into it with the stand. It is heavy and shipping will be a killer. I will sell it for $300 I need the room. With all that said and done $250 is a good price. I can not beat that.

Chris,

If you don't mind me asking, what city do you live in. There may be folks nearby who would want to buy one of the saws and could come get them instead of shipping.

Thanks for the info. I did pick up the 220. I got it for a great price, so I couldnt pass it up.I am now up to 7 scrollsaws, but still exclusively use my dewalts.I will pass on this great deal of a saw to one of my kids in my 4H group that wants a nicer saw than they currently have.
And for Byrd... the 220 I got has serial #0741 , and the original owner of it became a charter member of the RBI Scroll Saw Pattern Club in 1987 and within the binder that came with the saw purchase is some RBIdeas newsletters, the oldest one dated fall 1984.But no actual info on exactly when the saw was made. There was a heap of old blades that came with the saw as well, including some that are astronomically huge! So that may or may not help you with finding the age of your saw.
Thanks yall!
