Considering what you are doing and probable future use the DeWalt is a good deal. I personally own a Hawk V226 and love it but if you do not plan on a lot of use for more traditional scroll work then I would save my $ and get the DeWalt as it is a very good saw, especially for that price.

BTW, I have a Dewalt and I love it.

Cheers.

I'm going to probably purchase the EX30. The seller has several saws and this one is excess baggage I got permission from both sellers to post their information so if any of you need a saw, one of them will still be available...on second thought, maybe I should buy both of them and put one up for auction...to be paid in gold of course! Just kidding!

Default New Owner

I am now the proud owner of the Excalibur EX 30!

Other than a little dust, the saw is as new. Not a mark on it.

I got a 4 page brochure that describes various things but I don't know if that is all that comes with it.

Is there any info on tuning the saw that I should know? Like checking blade action/alignment, etc?

Should I contact the factory for info?

Or? Good reading material.

If any of you folks want the Dewalt that the other party has, I'll include it in the next post.

Here's the name and email address of the person who wants to sell a Dewalt788 that is one year old and claims only 10 hours use!

Ray Cegla sharonray1@charter.net

He's located in the Minneapolis area

Tell him I referred you.

Thanks,
Terry Neumann
