| Bought a new toy! Well a few days ago I asked for input as to which tool to buy first for Intarsia. Jeff Powell suggested a belt/disc sander. I did some research and compared quite a few brands and models. Then I went to Sears. I got what I think is a good deal on their 6"x48" belt/ 9" disc machine. I think someone might have returned it. It was discribed as used but nothing appeared used at all. They warrantied it as new. I payed $137.93 for it. They was running the same model on sale for $199.95 regularly $229.95. I took it home set it up and run some wood through it. I can't find anything wrong with it. I just might have gotten a good deal, it appears that way. Now I have to get some how to books on Intarsia. Oh yea, I also have to get a flexdrum sander kit.
PS Not a very good picture but the best I can do.

| Congrats, if the belt tracks good, then I'd say youve got a great deal...or, as the commercial says "You my friend are living the High Life!" congrats on the new tool!

| When my father passed away he left me his sander which is a Craftsman and very similar to that model. I love and use it a lot. Good purchase.

| I just purchased an Hitachi from the big blue box store. Looks like the same sander. Mine was $139.00 with my daughter-in-laws employees discount. So you got a good deal.
