Default my new too box

Hi all, this is a tool box I found at the swap meet. it was pretty rusty. but the insides was good, and the draws moved pretty nice.the inside was rusty too. so it was all sanded, sprayed it on the inside with a cheaper darker blue, and now it is good to go. I was looking for a new one. but dang pretty exspencive. I paid $65.00. and then took it home and steam cleaned it, and sanded it. then painted it with the color I wonted.( $20.00 bucks for the paint I wonted.) it looks great. I had to take the wheals off. don't need them anyway. and the side pull rail. to make room under my cabnet. I don't think I need to roll it around anyway. but saved the rollers. I found some old boat carpet in the old shope, and cut it to fit the drawrs. now I have a realy nice tool chest. I am a happey camper. isn't it pretty. I just love it. it is not a well known name. but saved me tons of $$$$$$.

Sweet deal there Evie! I have one that looks like yours did before you painted it and have been looking at getting a bigger one, you ain't kidding when you say they are expensive! Guess I should look at the swap meets.

Your going to have to get another container for all your stuff. Don't ever forget that he (or she) who dies with the most tools wins.

thanks every one. it was a mess for sure. it had gress all over the inside. I think the guy had it in the back of his truck. using it for macanics. for the gress was even in the tracks. and the rust, seemed to be all over the outside, and bottom. I was so happy to see the drawes move so well. so got it. I am please with how it turned out. thanks again, your friend Evie

Evie, that is so a well known name! It's called a "Real Good Deal" so dig out your marker and write it on there. Elbow grease and brains win every time, well done girl.
