I picked this up at an auction, new in the box. 16" craftsman. Have been using it the last 2 days working on the Diana Thompson Dogwood flower project in the Fall 2008 issue. Minimal vibration and no bogging down. Has any body else had one of these and if so any problems. Paid $75.00 for it. Merle |

Hay merle. that looks pretty good for $75.00. does it take straight end blades. looks like it. I like that tabale. looks like you got a good dell. how is the vibration thing. I am a tool junkie, so I would have bought it. your friend Evie woops, that looks like tea in blads. no matter. works right

G'day Merle, I'd say that was a good pick up. Like Evie, I would have snapped it up at that price, then worried about what I was gonna do with it

Oh yes, for $75 I would have bought it to. Never mind I have a saw and no real room for another... Tom |

For $75 brand new in box, I'd say it is a good deal. I picked up a Craftsman 16" about 20yrs old hardly used for $50. The only thing I dislike is changing blades, kind of a pain. Use it for non-Fret work cutting. Dean |

Thanks for the comments. Evie, it takes both pin and plain end blades, easy to change too. I think that the motor being in-line helps to reduce the vibration. Merle |
