How could I possibly skip over a post entitled "New Toy"

Congrats and keep striving, as long as there is room to walk in the shop and house, you don't have enough tools

That is one sweet looking machine, will be looking for your thoughts after you use it for a while.

I also just got a new toy, a bunch of the family chipped in and this is what I ended up with

JET® JML-1014VS Mini Lathe.
1/2 HP, 115VAC, 5A, 1PH motor.
Variable speeds from 500 to 3900 RPM.

Thomas nice toy!
Tom , you are so screwed! Wood turning is a bottomless pit for money. Now you will NEED a chuck or two and a sharpening setup and a Termite hollowing tool and a couple of Sorby tools and and and.
