My saw came today, and it seems to be great. I cut some 1/4 birch ply and then switched to a #7 skip tooth and cut a scrap piece of Western Red Cedar. By using the adjustment at the back, I set up and cut a bit out of the short side about 1 1/2" thick and then the other way, which was 2 1/2'"thick. No problem. it works great. I did not set the saw up properly yet because I need to make a new bench for it. Right now it is just sitting on my table saw and even there it did not vibrate at all.

I received a sale flyer from Woodcraft today. They have the Excaliber EX21 on sale for $749.99 with a free stand and foot switch. If I didn't have Ol' Yellar I'd beat a trail up there and get one!!!

In the last couple of weeks they have dropped the price of the 30" from $1300 or $1400 ( depending on the store) to $999. I wonder if the 21 is going to drop as well in the near future. With the 30" only $150 more, they might see sales of the 21 drop a bit?
