Default For Hegner Users, (Evie you out there?)

I received an email from Advanced Machinery on a new item for Hegner users.

Here is the web site: Advanced Machinery

It is to make blade changing easier on the hands. Looks like a good idea.

This one is even easier on your fingers. Than the HEGNER TUFF SCREW for fastening saw blades in blade clamps.

Hi Mike C,,, thanks for the update. mmm looks alittle like it might get in my way. orrrr does it come off and on. I really like my quick release. I have tryed the one Mike from Flying Dutchmon has, but sorry Mike FD. I don't like that one at all. the end gets all messed up way to easy. the end turns against the blade, mine turns, but has a little bering or something on the end, that stays against the blade but doen't turn while tightning. thanks I will stick to mine thanks any way , your friend Evie
the first picture is mine, that I like shows the end . and the 2nd, is the one mike shows from FD.
just my preferants.

Haaaa. went back to see it all again, and Mike C. I believe that is to chang the blades in the clamps. now that is a good Idea. I got confused with FD picture. I could use that in my bottom clamp holder. when I change the blade in that. I leave the blade in that clamp untill it is done dull so to speak, it is changed in a differant place on the side of my saw. the screw I showed is for the upper clamp monted on my saw arm. it just releases the blade , but the clamp stays on the arm, this is to quick release the blade so as to change it in a differerant hole. then clamps easly back in the same place on top. ok. hope this is not to confuseing. thanks Evie

Yes Evie, I think this thing would work in both places. Top and bottom but I can see what You mean about the top quick change.
