Unhappy Sob!!!!

G'day all,
Looks like I'm going to have to give the "Plastic Fantastic" a hiding tomorrow.

My Dewalt is sounding like a bloody chaff cutter, and I can't get the blade tightening cam past 3 1/2 - 4.

I've had it in pieces about 3 times, checked for "Marsha's " problem and can't find a thing wrong.

Hope someone's got a spare room and few hot meals for me, cause when the war office finds I've bought a new saw.........................

I ran it past her the other day, and the reply was non-committal.
WE Know What that Means

John: Sorry to hear about your problem, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. (I'll say a silent prayer for you) ; ) Keep us posted. If need be, and if you can get to the USA, we'll be happy to put you up while you mend. hehehe

JohnB you are way too funny with your "war office" stuff. Ya make me smile brother. I suspect anyone who can wear such a large hat has no problems convincing his mate of his needs. What cha buying? Another Dewalt, Hawk, Hegner, etc?

Hi John.
You need to remember the ones you love and respect their feelings. With that in mind, be sure to pick up a dozen roses on the way home from the hardware store.

The yellow room is always available. And I might even let you use a real saw.

My motto is it's easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission (my wife is fully aware of that too, hehehehe).
Look at the bright side, if she gives you the silent treatment, you can spend more time in the shop and not have to worry about her complaining.

LOL!! I can relate completely, I tried to convince the CFO the other day that I needed a drum sander but she was not going for it. I have a spare bedroom in the basement you can use if you need to go on the lam!

I'm sorry about your saw John, but it's a necessity to replace it. Being a woman myself, you might ask her how she would feel about not replacing her washing machine if it broke, or her dishwasher, or her vacuum cleaner, or...you get my drift. Surely she'll be reasonable. But, just in case, I also have a spare bed if you need it.

John this might work....Buy two of them show her one of them and tell her its for her (you want to spend quaility timewith her). She will say she doesnt want it and so you return it. Keeping the second one. If she doesnt say no then you have a helper to double the production.....

What do you think?
