Hi everyone, Just finished my shop this weekend. FINALLY, got all my tools in. Just recieved on Saturday, my Delta plainer and Grizzly jointer. Whew, what beasts. But I love it. My husband is really jealous, I get to play with all the "boy toys" as he calls them, while he sits in an office. Oh well. I love what I do, can't help it. I love reading all the threads on this site. You guys are "GREAT" and your advice is wonderful. Evie, I know what you mean about the sanders. I just about got knocked off my feet with my Porter Cable. Linda |

Linda: Conratulations on completion of YOUR shop. I'm jealous as I only have a corner of the basement (which I have to share). Post some photo's of your new digs please.

Linda, congratulations on the new shop. We'd love to see some pics. You should be pumping out some great stuff, now you're all organized, I can't wait to see some pics of your work as well. Now that Spring has arrived I better get out and clean my shop, there's a ton of stuff to get done and no room to do it. My hubby uses my shop as a winter holding ground for all his summer toys, and my saw has been in the house, but now it's time to take it back, get the saw out there and start some cutting. Good Luck with your new shop Marsha

Congrats from me too, and yes, we want pictures please! I'm really happy for you, right now I'm in a tiny spare bedroom and not near enough room. I'm hoping maybe we can start working on a shop for me this fall. By the way, welcome to the family. Chris

Congrats on the new shop. I know how excited you are. I felt the same way when I finally got a shop built many years ago. Hermit |

Joyfull, that is just great. go girl. It just makes my day when I can see other gals. injoying a place to make good woodworking. times are changing, and it is about time. WE LOVE TOOLS> and WOOD. now we need some one to make a new magazine, that is a better womon magazine insted of the little shelfy things we get. I love SSW&C, there is lot of ladys out there, that make great things. and win great prises. My hubby loved that I was moveing out of the old shop, but guess what, he still comes around every day to see what he can get into. I love his help. but don't need it. he hates that. but that is not my intention. I just wont to do it like I like it. and thats it. make my own mistakes. and be thankfull to myself. It is not a compatition, just my space. your friend Evie. go girl.

Awesome, I would love to have a real shop! I built out the cabinets etcetera to make my wife a craft room in one of the spare bedrooms, she loves it but alas, I am sentenced to the garage. Rolf, I buy all my tools local, the only exception was my Hawk.
