It was probably a mistake but I just bought a used Craftsman 12" Band Saw. It was probably made in the late 60's, but the guy I bought it from bought it new in the box 2 years ago from an estate sale. It is in great condition, really works well, and will work better after I get it tuned. The only problem is that he didn't have the owners manual, or instruction sheet and it is no longer available from Sears. I wondered if there might be any pack rats out there like me who keep all of the paperwork on their old machines. It is Model Number 103.24260, and if anyone might have a copy they could duplicate for me I would sure appreciate it. Tom |

I would suggest a search of Old Wood Working Machines: ( http://www.owwm.com/ ) That site is having some database problems and is not functional at the current moment (March 9, 2008). Phil |

Thanks Phil, I saved that site to my favorites so I can use it later on. Then I got an e-mail from the man who sold me the band saw, he found the paperwork and is mailing it to me. Ain't it great when things work out right for a change!! Tom |
