G'day all, My Dewalt has seemed to have lost tension. It has gradually been happening. When you put a blade in, over time, the tensioning cam has slowly crept up the numbers to the point that when using a light blade, like a #3, it is right up to the 5 position. (As far as it will go.) After taking it apart, everything seems to be tight and in the right place. Has anybody any clues on how to rectify this? I'd appreciate any input.

I dont have the dewalt, but I know on my Hitachi I notice the same thing. With mine all that was happening was the blade was slowly slipping out of the lower blade chuck. Dont know if this helps but figured Id try lol. King |

It's been mentioned on the site before, and there is a way to take apart your saw and adjust what needs to be adjusted. But I'm still at a 4 to 4 1/5 so haven't done so yet.....
