Default DeWalt scroll saw motor control

My DeWalt 788 scroll saw seems to have developed some noise and vibration a some speeds, while running smooth and quiet at others. I suspect an electronic motor control problem, but haven't ruled out mechanical. It seems there are a lot of scollers in these forums use this machine. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what was your solution? Thanks to all who reply

Sorry, I can't help you there. Others may well have ideas, or you might be able to try Dewalt. Hope you get it fixed soon.

I would imagine if it is at certain speeds and not others it would be more of a mechanical problem.
The speed control only affects the motor.
If the motor runs sporadically at certain speeds then that would not be so much of a vibration problem as it would be a control problem.
I would check for dust build up in bearing areas and make sure everything is tightened up.
