Default Hegner problems

I have a new Hegner 22v but have a problem. My old saw had a 16" throat so I had my bench about 18" away so when I would spin a piece I wouldn't hit it. With the Hegner I had to move the bench about 2 feet away.

That means I have to reach another half a foot to get my beer and cigarette.(but I think I will learn to cope). What a great saw.

I quit smoking so no suggestions. As for the beer - longer straw or go for the camelback setup. Keeps both hands free to scroll.

First project should be an ashtray holder and a beer holder that can attach above the upper arm.
Problem solved.

G'day Tom,
Looks like something has to go.
Give up scrolling

Congratulations on the new saw mate.

On second thoughts you could give these a shot.

I rarely have anything eatable in my shop, so the only issue I have run across with a deep throat is the loss of desk space, but I find that I can accept the trade-off.

Hey Tom,
Congrats on the new saw, we want to see your "FIRST" project with it.

John,
I can tell by the roo on the beer holder that these are photos of your personal tools, so whats up with the lipstick on the cigarette butt?
Was that road closed a little bit too long???

I guess that has been the problem with my Hegner also except for the ashtray. I guess I'll just install two beer holders.

congratulations on the new saw.switch to martini's they do not require as much hand-mouth movement. you do not have to drain as often. all considered a much more efficent beverage, and quit smoking they are no good for you. good luck with the saw doug
