Default New Tool Setup

This doesn't have anything to do with scroll sawing but just thought I would keep you informed the new sander is set up and ready to go. I will use it to prep and dimension wood for scroll sawing. Now I hope I can get the wood the same thickness without guessing at the adjustments. The digital scale is really a good improvement over the old manual scale. It reads 1/100 of an inch in metric and standard scale. Here are a few pictures of the sander. Still haven't decided whether to install the extended rollers. May do that at later date if needed. The reversing switch for the drive belt will really help when doing a lot of sanding.

Wow! Now that's what I call a sander. How big is that thing?

Looking good there. My first thought would be yes on the rollers, but it is possible that you would end up with something unnecessary in your pathway. Have fun with that thing, and make sure it is only fun

Wow that thing is awesome. I am in the same boat as Brandy, but I know if I showed that to my wife I would not be in good standing...no question about it.

Brandy, BRScroller,

This machine is 38 inches wide and the next model up would be the 5075 which is 50 inches wide. I wanted the 50 inch wide one but didn't have room for the extra width. I wish I lived close enough to everyone so you could come by and use it as much as you would like. You would be more than welcome. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New year. May God Bless you and your families.
