I am looking for old style blade holders the scrollsaw is a Lowe's taskforce 16inch (when the blade breaks the holder's fly off it seem's tension is what hold's them in place) i checked with Lowes they say they cant get them

If you or the local Lowe's store has the manual you should be able to find the contact information and contact Task Force directly. The design does not sound real effective. Have you considered upgrading to a better saw? Check you local Craig's list or pawn shops. Good Luck |

I had some similar to that on my first saw - Ryobi. There is still one lost in the garage but we have moved. Maybe the new owner found it. Those kind of holders can get very frustrating. Good luck. Earl |

MT Try this link. It is for Ryobi parts. I think Ryobi makes the saw for Lowes. The clamp you show looks just like the ones on a Ryobi I had. #37 on the parts list, part #S1603005B. Won't hurt ask them. http://www.ryobitools.com/parts Click on power tool parts store, click on repair parts catalog, click on model and then from there do a search for a 16" scroll saw in the search box.
