Default Birthday Toy

Got a new toy for my birthday. Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet. Comes bundled with Adobe Photo Elements 4, Corel Essentials Painter 3 and a Color Efex plugin. Tablet is 4x6.

Just toyed with it a little but I think I'll like both the tablet and software. Just in time for a new project.

A co-worker lost a young daughter to cancer and has started a cancer foundation in her name. At work we adopt a needy family at Christmas and I offered to make Christmas ornaments with the sales to go to the family. Well, Jeff (he's the Dad) saw my ornaments and wants me to make a prototype ornament using his foundation logo from their website. It's not a complex logo so I see no big problems but I want to do it right. Hoping the tablet will help with any drawing I need to do.

Happy birthday Mike, and enjoy your new "tool". You're going to love it. It just takes a little getting used to.
