When scrolling I dont use any dust collection method or machine. If Im down there and doing stuff I know will create a lot of floating dust, I have a general tools air filtration machine i turn on. For things like lots of dust that can be collected at its source I have a small delta dust collector, and still use the air filter along with that. Dale

I use a big ole grizzly with 4" piping inside the walls and blast gates for all my real dust and chip making tools. I do not bother with dust collection on the scroll saw itself. It seems pretty minimal to me. I just have a box under the saw on the floor that dust mostly falls into and so I can flick scrap pieces off the side into it. Running the table saw, planer and drum sander are crucial for dust collection.
