I have one just like it that I got off Ebay. The RBI Hawk 226 is a very high quality smooth runing saw it looks like this one even has the optoinal drip tank for cutting glass, metal and all sorts of materials. Someone gcould get a very good deal, if the auction doesn't go to high. I was able to snip mine from another bidder in the last 30 seconds of the auction for $375. Just do not bid on it right away otherwise you'll only be driving the price up. I've seen the exact same model bid up to close to $900 so it all depends on who is bidding on it. I have one piece of advice for anyone who's having trouble with thier DW 788, try to bid on this RBI 226 if you win it you can then sell your DeWalt scrollsaw and no longer have it be a problem for you, then you'll have a great scrolls all that will not give you all the troubles of the DeWalt. This is what I did and I'm perfectly happy with the decision. |
