If you ever have trouble with a variable speed control, it might be caused by dust. The variable speed on my Delta 45-450 was not staying where I set. It would run slower than where I had the dial set at. I removed the cover vaccumed out dust and finished with a shot of air from one of those air in a can dusters for computers. Air compressor would work also, did not want to lug the saw upstairs.Works fine now. Happy Scrolling Dean |
