Hello, I have a Delta SS-250. I have enjoyed using the saw, but recently, I have been having troubles tensioning the blades. As I clamp the tension bar, the blades slip, and I end up wiht loose blase, and can not cut. Any Ideas? Thanks |

You may find that sawdust collects in the lower blade clamps. I have had that issue before. Be sure to clean it out really well. I keep an old paintbrush handy just to wipe the dust away. Sometimes it helps to take sandpaper and rough up the edges of the blade before you clamp it. That trick works with most blade clamps. I have a feeling though that it is just an accumulation of sawdust, since it didn't do this initially.
