Has any one installed springs under the rear foot (platform) of your 788? Or any shop machine that vibrates a little. I have just installed mine and it seems to help to minimize vibration, if you have that problem that is. I ask my ol' mechanic for 2 valve springs they seem to have the right tension. Always great to sit down at the PC and visit with scrollers. |

I initially tried all sorts of stuff, including the rubber shocks that we mounted some of the generators on we had in Iraq. They seems to magnify the vibrations. Found out a good solid, heavy base worked best. I mount it to my workbench with 'T' track from Rockler.

I have no problem with vibration and haven't felt the need to reduce it!
