Default Old tools

Anyone up for starting a thread on old tools and seeing if we can identify their use? It would have to be related to wood working only. No automotive, no electronic, etc... strictly wood working. If we get a good response, maybe we could talk the powers that be into making it a subject of it's own. I always like to get the group thinking.

I have an old tool that's really cool. It's not exactly for woodworking, but it's made of wood and certainly could be used to make wood into pulp, lol. I call it a woodworkers snack machine...that's how it relates to woodworking

Jeff, that looks like a corn sheller to me.

Jeff, that looks like a corn sheller, as Earl said, or a potato peeler. I've seen one that looks sorta like that before. David

yea, it's a corn sheller, but works great for busting open walnuts too so you can have a healthy snack while scrolling.

Default This will be easy to recognize..

But did you ever see one like it before? I'm hoping in a couple days that it will be all mine. I just lost an old treadle Rodgers scroll saw by $1.00!! This dial up can really be frustrating at times.

OK... dug these out of the 29 to clean up for this coming weekends car show. These are some of the tools I display with the truck at car shows. I know the one with 3 views looks just like a plane and it is ... but for what purpose?

The circle cutter looks real familiar. Did you borrow it from my dad? (no idea what that old arched plane is for though.) Dale

Here are two of my favorites that were left by my Grandfather when he died years ago, his version of cordless drills, both work quite well and get a bit of exercise now and then.

This other little thing is something that my Dad left me when he become a super retired RV traveling fool...I have no clue other than it is for boring material out and I don't think it is too old...any guesses???

BTW, Pop I haven't a clue what those planes would be used for, at first glance I thought you had a spoke shaver posted...but it isn't...so we now know it isn't a spoke shaver...big help huh?
