Default Bought DW788;Amazing Process

On March 29, I purchased a Dewalt scroll saw through Amazon. The price was $419. They reversed a charge of $50 for shipping and offered an additional $50 credit on future Dewalt purchases from Amazon.

I received the saw today. It came to the post office by priority mail.

I wonder who is picking up the priority mail cost for a 56 pound package? There was no mailing charge to me.

Default Dewalt 788

Hi, I just purchased my very first scroll saw (in fact it is in the mail flying towards me right now). Where can I find a good dust collector (I really don't want to breath the finer dust particals). Also, any suggestions you have as to my first set-up experience I would most definately appreciate. I love this forum and look so forward to learning this new hobby. It is exciting! Thanks , Mary

Hi Mary,

If breathing the sawdust is your only concern and scrolling is all you're going to be doing, have you considered a high quality dust mask with replaceable filters?

Good luck when you get it and ask away?
