Default where to post items for sale?

Hello all I am new here and have found your site which is very interesting. My name is Steve I am 54 yrs old and am just dabbling into wood working ,thinking it may be what I need for my retirement to keep me occupied til I die lol. I find the items that can be made on a scroll saw to be fascinating so I am going to be here a lot in the future. I like the profiles of people and things that can be made from a photograph and can t help but think that it would be nice to incorporate that into box lids to make very personal keepsakes. I just bought a delta 40-440 scroll saw which is a 24" model 1970 vintage . I do love the older machines esp Delta . I think it stems from shop class when I was a kid always, told myself I would have some old iron someday and I am getting there . Since I bought the old Delta I sold the other machine I had (delta 40-601) but the guy that bought it did not want the stand . So I have a Delta scroll saw stand I need to sell don t want much for it and was wondering if you guys have a place you post items for sale. I also have a a smaller 15" delta scroll saw I want to sell (40-150) . So could you please direct me to where I can post my items ? Or any other websites that I may do so I really want to get these things out of my way before the wife disowns me for good .
thank you

Welcome aboard Steve, we really don't have a place here to put items up for sale, but you may want to check out craigslist.com and of course there is ebay another site that was recently brought to our attention is listpic.com
hope this helps.

Welcome to the board, Steve - and if by any chance anyone on here was interested in the saws you mentioned maybe putting your location in your profile would help. I think it's always nice to know where members are from but maybe I'm just a nosey b**ger ..

I think your original post is good enough! While BobD or one of the Moderators can correct me, I believe it is perfectly acceptable for us to offer stuff for sale to each other occasionally. I have done it a few times myself.

Welcome to the best scrollsaw group around BTW!!!

As long as it's not all the time, I don't have a problem with it!

Try Craigs List for your area. Do a Google on it... you'll find it.

Jeff, I have some lake front property down in the 4 corners area, I'll give you 2 bucks for the bridge. You have to haul it down there for me.
