today was opening day at the fair..
about 2 o'clock I got a call from one of my co-workers telling me that her daughter was there standing in front of my Black Hawk Helicopter. she sounded pretty excited and she was wanting to tell me what I won so I gave in....

my Black Hawk helicopter won first place and a Judges favorite ribbon, but NO "Best of Show"....
the black hawk took first so that means my old tractor took second in the wooden model division...

they didn't know about my 4 other projects but they were willing to go find them and call me back but I told no thanks because we were going tomorrow....

is my 3 year run of "Best of Show" over?
I bet they gave that motorized marble maze in the wooden toy division "Best of Show".....

I'll have the full fair results tomorrow with pictures....

Congrats Trout, even though you did win Best of Show. Your work is amazing and as long as you keep entering you'll keep winning. Again, Great job.

It's all good, the excitement is really starting to brew.....
I just can't wait to see what beat me out, the only reason I through out the motorized marble maze is that I got a sneak look at it the other day and it was pretty cool, I might even of voted for it too..

but we wont know until tomorrow....
